Thrithala

Thrithala is situated on the banks of Bharathapuzha 75 km away from Palakkad. The remains of the fort of Koottanad Kings are found here. Thrithala is famed for its Shiva temple. Kattilmadom temple on the Pattambi-Guruvayoor road has archaeological importance. Trithala is well known for the excellent traditional Ayurvedic treatment.
