Kodungallur

Kodungallur is situated 32 km away from Kochi and 42km from Thrissur, near the Arabian Sea Shore. The famous Kodungallur Bhagavathi Temple, Perumkovilakam of Cheraman Perumal, Pagoda of Thiruvanchikkulam, Portuguese Fort etc. are all worth seeing. The festivals of significance at Kodungallur are Makara Sankaranti and the Bharani Festival.
