Akkulam

Akkulam is 9 km away from the Trivandrum city. Kerala's largest Chidren's park is located here. There is a picnic spot on the banks of the Akkulam lake.

A boat club is also seen here. Boating facility in Fibre glass boats through the backwater is an added attraction. The Sculptures of Sri Kanai Kunjuraman makes this place more beautiful.

This place is one of the most popular picnic spots for the tourists. There is also a swimming pool at this serene picturesque place.
