Sprouted Moong Paneer
Sprouted Moong Paneer is a very healthy dish for Chappathi as the sprouted beans are very good for health. This is a low calorie recipe which goes well with Chapathis.
Ingredients
Whole Green gram : 1/2 cup
Onion : 2
Tomato : 1
Ginger garlic paste : 1/2 tsp
Paneer : 1 cup
Green chillies : 2 nos
Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder : 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder : 2 tsp
Cinnamon stick : 2 inch
Cumin seeds : 1/4 tsp
Clove : 2 no
Cardamom : 1 nos
Coconut milk : 1/4 cup
Salt
Oil : 3 tsp
Ghee : 1 tsp
Coriander leaves : a few
Water : 1/4 cup.
Method
Sprouting: Wash whole moong and soak for 8 hours. Cover them to sprout.
Masala:
Heat oil and ghee in a pan and toast the whole garam masalas. (cloves, cinnamon and cardamom).
Add the cumin seeds and fry the onion and minced green chilies until golden.
Now add the ginger garlic paste along with tomatoes and cook for few minutes.
Add the sprouts along with turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt.
Add 1/4 cup and let it it cook covered for 3 minutes.
Add in fresh cur paneer along with coconut milk or paste and simmer for few minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
