Paneer Kofta Curry
Paneer Kofta Curry is a very special side dish for Chappathi or Naan. It is a very good combination of Paneer with Palak and Potato.
Ingredients
1. Paneer shredded - 1/2 Kg
2. Boiled and mashed Potato - 1/4 kg
3. Corn flour - 50 g
4. Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
5. Oil - for frying
For Curry:
1. Palak Cooked and mashed - 1 kg
2. Oil - 50g
3. Garlic sliced - 50 g
4. Tomato pureed - 100g
5. Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
6. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
7. Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
8. Salt - as required
9. Water - 500 ml
Method
Mix the mashed potatoes, paneer, corn flour and pepper powder, well.
Make small balls of this mixture and fry in oil.
Heat the oil and add garlic and the masala powders and fry for some time.
Add Tomato puree to this and mix well.
Add the mashed Palak after 5 minutes along with water.
Simmer for another 5 minutes and add the fried Paneer balls to the curry and mix slowly.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
