Paneer Burji
Paneer Burji - North Indian Cuisine - Scrambled Paneer masala (Dry dish).
Ingredients
Paneer cubes - 250 gm
Oil - 4 tbsp
Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
Onion(big) - 2 nos
(chopped)
Tomato(big) - 1 no
(chopped)
Green chillies - 2 nos
(chopped)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt - As required
Method
Crush paneer cubes with hand.
Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds.
Add chopped onion and green chillies and saute well.
When onion becomes soft, add crushed paneer and mix it well for 5 mins.
Add salt, chopped tomato, turmeric powder and chilli powder and mix it well for another 5 mins.
Sprinkle the garam masala over the dish and cover it with a lid and keep it on a very low flame for 5 mins.
After 5 mins, remove it from fire and mix it well.
