Dry Fish Curry
Dry Fish Curry is loved by most of the Keralites. It can be made of any dry fish in grinded coconut and raw mango.
Ingredients
Dry Fish pieces - 8-9
Coconut - 1
1/2
cups
Raw Mango - 1/4 mango
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger - a small piece
Garlic - 2 flakes
Small Onion - 2 flakes
Salt - as required
Curry Leaves - 1 spring
Method
Clean the fish fillets by soaking in water for about 1 hour and cleaning them.
Grind together all other ingredients, except raw mango and curry leaves, lightly.
In a Kadai, add the coconut mixture along with salt, water and raw mango.
When the coconut curry starts boiling add the dry fish fillets into this.
Add the Curry leaves when the gravy thickens and serve hot.
