Ayala Pollichathu
Ayala Pollichathu is liked by all fish lovers and is very tasty also.
Ingredients
Ayala Fish - 5
For Masala :
1. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Garlic - 10 flakes
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Salt - as required
2. Big Onion sliced - 2 cups
Ginger sliced - 2 tbsp
Garlic sliced - 2 tbsp
Green Chilly cut into round slices - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Salt - as required
Vinegar - 3 tbsp
Method
Clean the ayala fish and marinate the fish in lemon juice and keep aside.
Grind together the second set of ingredients and marinate on the fish.
Fry fish in oil.
Fry big onion slices, ginger, garlic slices and green chilly.
Add turmeric and pepper powder and the vinegar to this and fry for some more time.
Garnish this fried mixture on the fried fish and serve hot.
