Pachari Dosa
Pachari Dosa - Easy to make dosa using Raw Rice.
Ingredients
Raw rice(Pachari) - 2 cups
Cooked rice - 1/2 cup
Small onions(Kunjulli) - 8 nos
Cumin seeds(Jeerakam)(powdered) - 1 tsp
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Salt - As reqd
Oil/ghee - to make dosas
Method
Clean the rice and drain it. Soak it for about 1 hour.
Grind it to a nice dough.
Add cooked rice, small onions, powdered cumin seeds and coconut to this.
Grind it again into a nice paste with little more water than dosa dough.
You can put coconut pieces in the dough also for people who like to bite coconut in the dosa.
Heat a nonstick tava.
Apply oil using a cloth and then pour batter and make thin dosas.
Serve with coconut or chilli/onion chutney.
