Karthika Marriage Engagement Photos

South Indian actress Karthika is getting married on May 18, 2009, to an NRI- Malayali. Her would-be is Merin Mathew who hails from Kollam. Karthika’s original name is Lydia.

Karthika’s engagement was held on May 14 and the wedding will be held on May 18 at Thevalakara St. Mary's Orthodox Cyrian Church. Wedding reception will be held for her friends and relatives and also for the members of the film industry at Thrikakara Bharat Matha College Auditorium, Kakkanad on May 19, 2009.

Merin Mathew is working in USA as a Medical Biller. Karthika revealed that they are in love for the past two years and got the consent of their parents now. Merin is son of Mathew Vaidyan of Kollam Mainagapalli, Kadappa Merish Bhavan.

Karthika did many roles in Malayalam and Tamil films. Karthiga made her debut in Kollywood with Sarath Kumar starrer ‘Nam Nadu’. She became popular with her role in last years Tamil movie Dindugal Sarathy. Karthiga tells that she will settle down in US with Merin after marriage. She is currently working for the film Palaivana Solai.
