Director Rajasenan who had an outing as the hero in his own movie 'Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonnu' was not received well by the viewers. Rajasenan returns with his next film titled 'Small Family'.

Small Family tells the story of a family who makes and sells liquor for their living. So the 'Small' in the title of the movie does not mean a small sized family. The family also takes pride in their profession.
