2 Harihar Nagar is a Malayalam hit film released in 2009. This is a sequel to the evergreen comedy hit of Malayalam cinema 'In Harihar Nagar' directed by Siddique-Lal. It is confirmed that 2009’s Vishu belongs to 2 Hariharnagar.

The film starts in 1980 in front of a church where the friendship begins. First half is for comedy and second half is dedicated to adventure.

Second half have many twists which makes people glue to the cinema. The climax portion also happens to be in the front of same church where the four friends united.

The four characters look as if they jumped from In Harihar Nagar to this film. No wonder as these actors were acting the same way for 20 years or more.

Same formulas which were used by the director duo were used to create comedy. At times we can expect what is going to happen next. The story structure has resemblances with Mannarmathai Speaking and Ramji Rao Speaking.
