Yugapurushan : Mammooty and Mohanlal in the film based on very reverent Sree Narayana Guru
In todayâs chaos when peopleâs minds are muddled in religious fanaticism and leaders pledge on killing people of other communities comes a film that make us think how substandard our minds are and how low our thoughts are sinking.
While politicians and parties asks votes on the basis of caste, we can foretell communal harmony and peace will soon get damaged irreparably and people will become a weapon in the hands of political businessmen to kill each other on the basis of religion; and our poor country get the status of a riot torn place where only hate survives.
Once in Kerala, their lived a saint, a social reformer, a real hero; the most reverent Sree Narayana Guru who promoted the principle of one caste, one religion and one god for the mankind. His teaching which involved Ahimsa of Buddha, the brotherhood of Prophet Mohammad, the wisdom of Aadi Shankara and spirituality of various gurus.
The movie titled Yugapurushan is a period film based on the life of Sree Narayana Guru spanning 1856 to 1928.
Yugapurushan's shooting has started in Palakkad months ago. Film will be shot at various places in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Srilanka. Tamil actor Thalaivasal Vijay will don the role of Sree Narayana Guru.
