Violin is the forthcoming Malayalam movie from veteran director Sibi Malayil after Apoorva Ragam. Violin has Asif Ali and Nithya Menon in the pivotal roles.

Lyrics are penned by Rafeeq Ahammed. Bijipal composes music. Biju Menon, Nedumudi Venu, Shammy Thilakan, Chembil Ashokan, KPAC Lalitha, and Raji Menon plays other important roles in the movie Violin. Manoj Pillai cranks the camera.

The movie tells the story of Angel from an Anglo-Indian family in Fort Kochi. She lives with the violin presented to her by her lost father. Her mother and younger sister are the others in the family. This violin is her only consolation from her sorrows. Eby comes to Fort Kochi from Karimannoor village to fill her life with happiness.

Angel experiences true life through innocent Eby. Eby's character is played by Asif Ali, while Angel's role is done by Nithya Menon.

This is the first Malayalam film produced by AOPL International.
