Vimala Raman to Bollywood

Vimala Raman debuted in Malayalam flicks. Even after acting with super stars in here, none of her films gained commercial success. With in no time she migrated to other languages in South India. After acting movies in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada she is now headed north. With her perfect features and beautiful face she should have reached higher heights here itself.
This Bharatanatyam dancer turned actress is making her debut in Bollywood with a relative of Salman Khan as hero. Amrapali, a remake of the 1966 classic with the same title had Vyjantimala Bali in the lead role as a princess. Amrapali is a heroine centric film in which Sunil Dutt acted.
Vimala is very much happy with this offer which is reported to get her a huge fee for which she has to give 90 days call sheet. This Malayali actress has been winning praises for her performance in recent release in Kannada flick titled Aaptha Rakshaka.
Lately her liberal approach towards skin show has become a talk among the youth and her oomph factor to attract them to theatre is commendable. Vimala is said to be friendly and cooperative which makes the job a lot easier for the director and the crew.
The film will be directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, the man behind Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai starrer Jodha Akbar and Aamir Khan's Lagaan. The rest of the cast have to be finalized. Recently, she is working in her maiden English film titled Dam 999. Let us wish her to reach top position in Bollywood.
