Venicile Vyapari is the forthcoming movie of megastar Mammootty. The film is directed by Shafi. Kavya Madhavan and Poonam Bajwa plays the female leads in this movie.

Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraaj Venjaramood, Salim Kumar, Janardhanan, Vijaya Raghavan, Suresh Krishna, Biju Menon and many others play important roles in Venicile Vyapari.

Mammootty plays the role of a Police Constable, Pavithran in this flick, set in the 1980s. Mammootty appears in bell bottom pants and colourful shirts in Venicile Vyapari. Pavithran arrives in Alappuzha with a case investigation, but he turns to a coir merchant under certain circumstances.

SP Ravi Varma's daughter Lakshmi loves Pavithran. Lekshmi is a modern girl. She loves Pavithran for his innocence. But the life in Alappuzha brings Pavithran close to Ammu, a village girl, who is associated with labour unions. Ammu makes a mark in Pavithran's life.

Poonam Bajwa appears as Lakshmi while Kavya Madhavan plays the role of Ammu.

James Albert handles the script, while cinematography is handled by Shyam Dutt. Madhavan Nair produces this movie under the banner Murali Films.

As the film is set in 1980s, the actors appear in get ups favoring the times. Bijibal composes the music for the lyrics of Kaithapram.

Venicile Vyapari will grace theatres by the year end.
