Farah Khan's first non-Shahrukh Khan Film Tees Maar Khan started shooting at Mumbai Film City on 1st March with junior artistes.

Farah signed Akshay Kumar instead of her perennial favorite King Khan for this commercial flick.

The film made news when the lead actress Katrina Kaif collapsed on the sets of on March 17. Doctors concluded that the sudden collapse was due to her over work and lack of sleep. Another news was that Akshay was required to be handcuffed for a scene. Even after the scene, the crew couldn’t unlock it and they took almost four hours to get the spare key. Akshay chose not to make a fuss about the negligence of concerned.

Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd has walked out of the project due to some unknown reasons and the director has brought the new producer on board – UTV, after the shooting has begun.

The flick Tees Maar Khan is now synonymous with problems in the industry. The shooting location is quite some distance away from proper Mumbai. As Akshay Kumar was not comfortable enough to stay away from son Aarav for so long Farah had no choice left other than to arrange helicopter so Akshay can fly back to Mumbai everyday.

Farah’s baby triplets were shifted to the location to get motherly care.

Tees Maar Khan will be Farah Khan’s third directorial venture after super hits Main Hoon Naa and Om Shanti Om.

A huge jumbo jet was constructed by set director Sabu Cyril.

Katrina Kaif has to performing a hot item number like Madhuri Dixit for Tees Maar Khan in a Ghaghara choli designed by Aki Narula. Katrina will have to go through 15 to 20 days of training for this.
