Dharmendra is seen sparingly in films these days. His son Sunny Deol was in a long hiatus from films. Bobby Deol too doesn't enjoy a great time. Recently Sunny returned with an action suspense film Right Yaaa Wrong. It got mixed reviews ranging from a fascinating film to mediocre attempt.

Neerraj Pathak is happy as he achieved what he wanted. The back-story is that Sunny Deol has given him chance to make a film.

After Right Yaaa Wrong, he has already begun work on his next flick Gannit. Gannit is a political thriller based on the present scenario in U.P. The director has approached Sunny with the concept of the film and he has confirmed to star in it. This film will have two other male leads and three lead female characters. The artists are not fixed for the role.

Mayawati, Mulayam Singh, Amar Singh are the players who are to inspire characters in this fictionalized turbulent political story. This realistic political drama is set in Lucknow and will be shot there.

The flick is in the planning stage and the pre production will get a force start in coming weeks. The shoot for Gannit will start in May. The release will have to wait till next year.

The music director will be fixed after the ball start rolling.

It seems like Sunny Deol is all set to make a full fledged return to Bollywood. Gannit will be followed by his home production Yamla Pagla Deewana.
