Red Wine is an upcoming Mohanlal film directed by Salam Bappu. This is an action thriller written by Noufal Blathur. Mammen K Rajan writes the screenplay. Gireesh Lal produces Red Wine under the banner Gowri Meenakshi Movies. Reelax Eveents distributes the film, to be released on March 22.

Fahad Fazil and Asif Ali play other leading roles. Meghna Raj, Meera Nandan and Mia George play the female leads. Manoj Pillai is the cinematographer. Ranjan Abraham does editing. Bijibal tunes music for the lyrics of Vayalar Sarath.

Maria John, Anusree, Saiju Kurup, Roshan, Jeena Riju, Suraaj Venjaramood, T.G. Ravi, Sunil Sugatha, Janardhanan and Anoop Chandran are the others in the cast of Red Wine.

Anoop (Fahad Fazil) is a person who loves drama and is involved with various social causes and lives in Wayanad. Ramesh (Asif Ali) who is a sales executive is from Kozhikkode and he is a person who does not care about anyone else.

Both of them are unknown to each other, but there is a hidden connection between the two. Ratheesh (Mohanlal) tries to find out the connection between the two and finds out a lot of secrets about their connection. The incidents that unfold form the crux of the story.

This is the first time, Asif Ali and Fahad Fazil are part of a Mohanlal film. Red Wine deals with love and relationships.
