Prithviraj's film Thanthonni is to be released soon. He has just completed Pokkiri Raja, in which the actor plays younger brother of Mammootty. His film Anwar directed by Amal Neerad and Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram directed by Shaji Kailas are in the pipeline. He is to play the lead role in a period movie on Veluthampi Dalava which is directed by Viji Thampi. Prithviraj is expecting gem film Mani Ratnam's Raavan at the mean time.

Kerala's youth icon Prithviraj's next Malayalam film has been announced. The film named Mumbai Dost is under the direction of debutant Fazal. Fazal has worked as associate director with hit Jodi Rafi-Mecartin in several films. Mumbai Dost is scripted by Rafi and Mecartin, who are considered one of the finest comedy script writers in Malayalam.

The film is produced by Howli Pottoor under the banner of Dream Team Productions and will start rolling from October 2010.

Lalu Alex, Salim Kumar and Suraj are others in the cast. The heroine and other technicians of the film are to be decided. Mumbai Dost is to be shot on locations in Kerala, Tamilnadu and Mumbai.

Mohanlal Prithviraj starrer Cousins has been announced years ago and is soon to gain momentum, it's heard.
