Neelambari is the forthcoming Malayalam movie starring Vineeth, Bhama and Vidya in the leading roles. The story of the movie revolves around two girls who are born and brought up in an Agraharam.

Lakshmi (Vidhya) and Parvathy (Bhama) are best friends and was brought up together by Lakshmi's mother as Parvathy lost her mother during her childhood itself. There are no secrets between Lakshmi and Parvathy.

The film depicts love through music. Both Lakshmi and Parvathy are music students. They study music at Devanath's place. He is a maestro in Violin.

Parvathy falls in love with the music teacher Devanath (played by Vineeth). He also started loving Parvathy. But she keeps this as a secret from Lakshmi also.

Devananth's relatives fix his marriage with Lakshmi when he was abroad with a music program. When Parvathy came to know about this, she told her story to Lakshmi, but things took a different turn. Lakshmi could not bear that and she asks Parvathy to go out of her home.

Parvathy looses her father on the same night. Orphaned, Parvathy left the agraharam the same night itself. Lakshmi repented her actions and tries to find Parvathy with the help of a lorry driver Thenkasi Rajan, who also loved Parvathy with out her knowledge.

Anoop Menon plays the role of the lorry driver. Suraj Venjarammoodu is doing the role of an Astrologer named Vamanan Namboothiri. Harisree Ashokan, Kalasala Babu, P Sreekumar, Anoop Chandran and Ambika Mohan are the others in the main cast.

The film has lot of suspense. Neelambari is expected to be a very good romantic story from Director Hari Narayanan. The film has music by Kaithapram Viswanathan.

Produced by Premananthan under the banner Sree Lakshmi Creations, the film has script by Hariprasd Harilal. Hari Narayanan who had bagged the Best Debutante Director Award for his film 'Nanthuni' tells a heart warming story in 'Neelambari'.
