Mumbai Police is a different police story directed by Rosshan Andrrews starring Prithviraj, Jayasurya and Rahman in the pivotal roles. Hima Davis plays the female lead opposite Prithviraj in this flick. She is from Vienna and is popular in advertisements and also through Vodafone Thakadhimi programme.

Mumbai Police unlocks the story of three brave police officers Faran, City Police Commissioner (played by Rahman), Mattanchery Asst. Commissioner Arya John Jacob (Jayasurya) and Ernakulam Assistant Commissioner Antony Mosses (Prithviraj). They are close friends, very tough police officers and are fondly called as Mumbai Police. Aparna Nair does the role of an IPS officer named Rakhee Menon in this movie.

Nishad Haneefa along with Nivas Haneefa and Niyas Haneefa produces this movie under the banner Nisad Haneefa Productions. Diwakar is the director of photography. Gopi Sunder scores music for the lyrics of Santhosh Varma.

Anoop Menon, Kunjan, Meera Nandan, Riyaz Khan, Sukumari, Chali Pala, Mukundan and A.T. Jose also are in the cast.
