Meera Jasmine and 'Gowrishankaram' fame Munna play leading roles in the upcoming Malayalam movie Mohabbath. East Coast Vijayan is directing the flick. This is his second directorial venture after 'Novel'.

Story, Screen Play and Dialogues are by director Siddique Shameer. Vayalar Sarathchandra Varma pens the lyrics. Music Director S. Balakrishnan composes music for Mohabbath. S. Balakrishnan returns to music direction after a gap of 10 years in this film.

Renowned singer Hariharan and actor-singer Mamta Mohandas are also featuring in the film. Jibu Jacob handles the camera.

Anand Michel, Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Suraaj, Salimkumar, Asokan, Suresh Krishna, Jaffer Idukki, P.Sreekumar, Saikumar, Devan, Seetha, and Lakshmi Priya are in the leading cast of Mohabbath.

Meera Jasmine plays the role of a Muslim girl for the third time, after Padam Onnu Oru Vilapam and Perumazhakkalam. Sajna hails from an aristocratic Muslim family in Malabar. Sajna's childhood friend and cousin is Anwar. Their families decide to get them married after studies.

Sajna goes to college in the town and falls in love with Ameer, her classmate. Sajna's decision to marry Ameer causes problems in her family. Munna plays the role of Ameer, while Anand Michel plays the role of Anwar.

Produced by East Coast Vijayan, Mohabbath will reach screens in April.
