Lucky Jokers is a big budget movie produced by V. Ravichandran of Aascar Films. Ajmal of Madambi fame dons the lead role, while Tamil comedy actor Vadivelu is also appearing in a prominent role. This will be his debut film in Malayalam.

Lucky Jokers is directed by Sunil. Malayalam actors Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anoop Menon, Jagadeesh, Sai Kumar, Indrans, Jagathy Sreekumar, Janardhanan, Kottayam Nazeer, Harishree Ashokan, and Jaffer Idukki also act in major roles. Veteran actor Madhu also shares the screen with them.

Kolappulli Leela, Zeenath, and Sreelatha play prominent roles. Lucky Jokers is a humorous film laced with action.

M. Jayachandran composes music. Editing is by P C Mohanan. Dharani cranks the camera.

As the name suggests, Lucky Jokers will be a comedy entertainer. Ajmal plays the role of a Prince from Kerala, who set out in a hunt for an ancestral diamond given to his family by Nepali King, thousands of years ago. The diamond is expected to bring peace and harmony in the world.

The Prince's expedition for the diamond and if he will ever find out the place which it is kept are the base of the story. The film is shot in various locations at Trivandrum, Nepal and Malaysia.

The film is expected as a Vishu release on April 14, 2011.
