Director Babu Janardhanan is making the sequel for Lal Jose movie 'Achanurangatha Veedu'. The film was earlier titled 'Samuelinte Makkal' and is now titled as 'Lisammayude Veedu'.

Popular Malayalam actress Meera Jasmine is making a comeback to Malayalam films through this flick. She was not seen in Malayalam movies for some time now. Unni Mukundan was to play the male lead, but is replaced by Rahul Madhav now.

Rahul Madhav was earlier seen in films like Vaadamalli, Bangkok Summer and Track. His role in Lisammayude Veedu will be an opportunity for the actor to prove his acting skills.

Lisammayude Veedu is written by the director Babu Janardhanan. P. T. Saleem produces the movie under the banner Green Advertising. Salim Kumar, Jagadeesh, Baiju, V. K. Sreeraman, Sangeetha Mohan and Ranju play other characters.

Vinu Thomas is the music director. Salim Kumar play the role of a father with three daughters, as in the original film. Meera play the role of his elder daughter, originally played by Mukta. She essays different roles in the film like a 23 year old young girl, a house wife, a widow and a mother.
