Mukesh and Kalabahava Mani will play leading roles in the upcoming Malayalam film titled Football Friends. The story of the movie is based on the game Football and a local football team.

Football Friends will be directed by Jijesh Vennala. Story, Screenplay, and Dialogues are handled by the veteran writer Dennis Jospeh. The film is produced under the banner Winter Wake Productions.

Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Salimkumar, Siddhique, Anoop Chandran, Narayanankutty, Mamukkoya, Kalashala Babu, KPAC Lalitha, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Sukumari, Bindu Panicker, Kalpana and Sona Nair play other roles in the film.

Football friends will also feature eleven new heroes, seven villains and four heroines, in addition to the above cast.

The movie is expected to reach theatres in May 2011.
