When everyone had a loose body Salman brought up a beautiful six pack which made him the real Macho man in Bollywood. But after the success of Om Shanti Om every guy came up with the perfect abs, what did Sallu do? In Debaang he plays a corrupt, paan chewing police offices who is not fit. So he loosened up his body and is far away from 6 packs. With out going Jim he just practiced tennis.

His latest release, Veer flopped without a trace in BO. It has been almost one year since the release of Wanted. After that big bang Sallu is back this September with Debaang. The trailer shown makes viewer's hope touch the sky. The film had been made on the backdrop of corruption in the police department in Uttar Pradesh. Many resemblances are seen with Vikram starrer Tamil hit film Saamy. Sallu will be seen sporting a moustache in this film. Shahrukh has been earlier seen with it in film Paheli and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Sonakshi Sinha, the daughter of Shatrughnan Sinha is the heroine. She is now the hot property in B Town and has declared that, she will sign another film only after the release of Debaang. Other major actors are Arbaaz Khan, Sonu Sood, Vinod Khanna, Dimple Kapadia, and Om Puri.

The music had been composed by Sajid Wajid.

Debaang will be the debut home production of Arbaaz Khan who will also star in the film along with Sonu Sood. The film has been directed by Anurag Kashyap's younger brother Abhinav Kashyap. Debaang is to be released in September, 2010.
