Black Stallion is south India's glamour queen Namitha Kapoor’s first-ever Malayalam film.

Namitha one of the highest paid actress in Tamil cinema has a huge fan following in Kerala too. Keeping this in mind many have approached Namitha to act in their Malayalam films with no luck.

Her popularity can be measured by the news; people are creating on her even on personal topics. What ever she does creates news. Be it her split with boyfriend or making a temple in her honour.

Namitha who has a salary of more than a crore in Tamil is expected to do this film in less than half of her salary. She has now created the record of highest paid actress in Malayalam.

In the Google search for Popular Cinema stars in 2008, Namitha has fetched third position with 3 Crore Google searches done on her. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif hold the first and second positions respectively. Aishwarya Rai who ruled in Google searches earlier was pushed back.

Namitha is playing the role of Laura Singh, a bar dancer. While on shoot the Kerala fans madly mobbed her wherever she goes.

She likes Kerala and has plan to buy a house near the backwaters.

Kalabhavan Mani is supported by Bala, Suresh Krishna, Kiranraj, Bheeman Raghu, Niyas, Baburaj and others in this film.

Black Stallion is produced by Jagadheesh Chandran under the banner of Kichu films.

Lal fans are expecting Namitha soon in a Mohanlal film.
