James Cameron's upcoming film Avatar is building mighty expectations.
Audience expect that Cameron who pioneered CGI effects with Terminator 2 and took it to higher level with Titanic will deliver something remarkable for the filmmaking fraternity and for the mass audience with Avatar.
The film tells the story of a Marine who is send to a distant planet Pandora which is inhabited by a humanoid race known as the Naââ¬â¢vi. At night this gorgeous Planet shines with a bioluminescent glow. He attempts to settle the planet as an alternative home for humanity but later changes his mind. The film will have lot of science based elements.
Pandora's war has two facets. One part consists of the human invaders, with weaponry, pilots etc. Opposite side is the Na'vi, a race of blue-skinned indigenous warriors armed with spears, bows and vicious plants. The war at the Pandora becomes incredibly mindless.
A game is also released with the film. Ubisoft who is behind this 3D game is reluctant to divulge information about the game beyond the demo's end.
The portable version will be available for DS and PSP.
The trailer for the movie has raised enough eyebrows to make this film a world hit. Avatar would be Cameronââ¬â¢s first directorial work since he made Titanic in 1997.
