Looks like Bollywood is bounded with unique thrillers on the hotfooted race. We had the previous weeksâ release of â13bâ taking on a supernatural thriller theme where a Television Box set had its lead role. Well, this time in âAa Dekhen Zaraâ itâs all about a phenomenal camera that predicts the future of the sources clicked. Quite interesting, isnât? Neil Nitin Mukesh made a good start with his âJohnny Gaddarâ with an anti-hero role. Over here, heâs spotted with more maturity where he delivers each and every frame with an ease.
Ray Acharya (Neil Nitin Mukesh), a struggling photographer has nothing going for him... until he inherits a very 'special' camera from his grandfather which changes his life in a way that he could not have imagined in his wildest dreams.
The 'power' of the camera changes Ray's destiny overnight. His life becomes one big roller coaster ride that takes him from rags to riches and also helps him meet the love of his life, Simi (Bipasha Basu) who is an exciting sexy DJ with a mind of her own. Everything is hunky dory and moving towards 'happily ever after'.
As they say with great power comes great responsibility and in Ray's case, also great danger. He must now face up to the dark side of reality and win not only against the evil forces but also against fate.
Aa Dekhen Zara is a fast-paced, romantic musical thriller with some great edge of the seat action.
Can Ray change his date with fate? Aa Dekhen Zara.
On the dots, the director has been inspired from Final Destination 3, especially with the roller coaster incident. However, plans to take a different route when he starts earning billions with his predictions of camera. He just carries off everything into his pockets as he clicks photos at sensex markets, cricket scoreboards, and lottery tickets.
Sooner, he has baddie (Rahul Dev) and RAW agents fastening behind him to grab the camera. Though he plays out his tricks and sets out of troubles from them, he blown out of waters to see a photo clicked at him goes black. Of course, he is reminded about his grandfather saying it means nothing other than his death is near. Well, these sequences go well and the filmâs duration set around less than couple of hours attracts the viewers.
Precisely, the climax is sure to bind every eye on the screens that none couldâve expected. In the latter part, the film drops off the pace and couple of songs âMohabbat Aapkaâ and âGazabâ enhances the filmâs pace.
Musical score, cinematography and editing; these technical aspectsoffer more strength to the filmâs edge-seated thriller.
On the whole, âAa Dekhen Zaraâ is a worth watching film that makes you feel worthy watching for the tickets bought.
Verdict: Worth Watching
