101 Weddings is a story set against the backdrop of a mass marriage ceremony, incidents happening there, and the humorous rendering of the sequences afterwards. Jayasurya plays the role of a young dance master in the movie.

The movie is shot at locations in Thodupuzha, Idukki, Ottappalam and Hyderabad.

The audio launch of 101 Weddings happened in Kochi on 28 October 2012. The film will reach theatres on November 16, 2012.
