Padmanabhapuram Palace is located at Thuckalay in Kanyakumari District of Tamilnadu, but administered by Government of Kerala archeology department.
Padmanabhapuram Palace is an example of ancient Kerala style of architecture. The Palace is a huge one with beautiful rooms, floor finishes, dance halls and many other important structures.
There is a vast collection of gifts from foreign merchants, chinese and dutch architecture. All these were presented to the Travancore Maharaja by these merchants and soldiers.
