St. Patric Church, Vyttila, Ernakulam
St. Patric Church is located at Vyttila, adjacent to S.A. Road, the main road to Ernakulam.
His Grace, Most Rev. Bishop Dr. Joseph Attipetty,named the shrine in the name of St. Patric, the apostle of Ireland. St. Patrick of Ireland is one of the world's most popular saints.
During the 1960's the majority of the Christians in Vyttila were Catholics, especially Latin Catholics. Vyttila and near by areas were towards the border of the Thykoodam Parish.
