Athirappally Waterfalls joins the Chalakkudy river after a 80 feet fall. Vazhachal falls located 5km away from Athirappally is a part of the Chalakkudy river.

Both these waterfalls are surrounded by forests and is home to variety of wildlife. Usually the area is crowded with tourists.
