Salad is a mixture of vegetables or fruits, often with a dressing or sauce. Salad is often served as an appetizer before a larger meal. The green salad or garden salad is most often composed of some vegetables, built up on a base of leaf vegetables such as one or more lettuce varieties like spinach.
Vegetable Salads are rich in vitamins and fibre content. They should be easily digestable and edible in order to prepare fresh salads. It should be a part of the lunch and dinner to have a healthy diet.
